De eisen die aan isolatiematerialen worden gesteld in de voedingsmiddelenindustrie, de chemische/farmaceutische industrie en de energiesector zijn bijzonder hoog: de technische systemen en pijpleidingen in deze sectoren worden blootgesteld aan sterke temperatuurschommelingen of zeer lage temperaturen.
Isolatiematerialen in maritieme omgevingen moeten aan bijzonder hoge eisen voldoen. Tijdens een intercontinentale overtocht moeten zij binnen zeer korte tijd zowel ijzige temperaturen in de noordse wateren als tropische milieu-invloeden doorstaan zonder hun isolerende functie te verliezen.
Kaiflex products now with more transparent ecological balance
Protecting health and the environment while minimising operational costs: sustainable construction is becoming more important. Kaimann now provides optimal support in achieving building certifications like DGNB or BREEAM: the Institut Bauen und Umwelt (Institute for Construction and Environment, IBU) is preparing Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for the Kaiflex product range. These EPDs will make Kaimann insulation materials’ ecological balance even more transparent.
